Our month-long journey through Namibia was truly memorable, and among the various campsites we visited, Mount D’urban stood out as our favourite. The thoughtful layout of the campsites provided unparalleled privacy, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings.
The warmth and hospitality of the owners added a special touch to our experience. Their offerings, including the delightful farm-baked bread, irresistible rusks, and other farm products, showcased a genuine commitment to quality and a passion for their craft.
Without a doubt, Mount D’urban has left a lasting impression, and we look forward to returning to this exceptional campsite in the future.
Our absolute favourite place we stayed on our Namibia Road trip. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and the friendliest owners who sell the most delicious freshly baked bread and jams and meat from the farm for the braai.
Kids loved the pool and we loved both relaxing and exploring the trails.
We stayed 2 nights but didn't want to leave!
We only booked for 1 night and found it so beautiful that we extended it to
another night. The nice farming family helped us to postpone our next accommodation bookings.
We had freshly baked bread (pre-ordered) delivered to the campsite on both days.
In the farm shop, we were able to buy delicious homemade food (jam, chutney, rusks…), as well as fruit and lamb.
The pool was wonderfully refreshing, with a shade roof, and the whole area was beautifully landscaped,
You can go on 2 short hikes directly
from the site. For us, definitely one of the best places to camp in Namibia.
